As an advocate for the Disney Dining Plan, I wanted to do a series of my favourite restaurants on property. I’m looking at this park by park, and will discuss at the table service, character meals, quick service and then snacks separately – so this is a long series…. and there’s no better place to start than the most magical of all parks – The Magic Kingdom. So here’s my ranking of the table service restaurants I have been to in the Magic Kingdom…

1. Be our guest – breakfast

Ok so this is a cheat as its technically classed as a table service but only costs a quick service on the DDP. Both of my trips to Walt Disney World included a visit here. As a massive Beauty and the Beast fan it was a must do the first time and due to how fabulous it was, I took my family back on my second trip.

Be Our Guest -Magic Kingdom

The breakfast here if your on the dining plan is 1 quick service credit per person and personally I think it is fully worth it! Each time I have had “Feast a la Gaston” which is bacon, sausage, eggs and the breakfast potatoes with a side of fruit. You also get a plate of pastries for the table and a drink each. The food has been top notch each time and let’s face it, who doesn’t want to dine in that ballroom?!

2. Be our guest – dinner

Following on from my number 1 pick, I’m back in the same place but for dinner. I booked this before a Halloween party in 2017 and since then it has had a change over to a set menu. Again the big draw for me was the Beauty and the Beast element plus at dinner you get to meet Beast on your way out…

The food was fabulous and I got to sit in a different section of the restaurant to breakfast as well which was nice. Naturally I had the “grey stuff” for pudding which just made my little fan girl heart melt!

3. Tony’s

Finally is Tony’s Italian restaurant on Main Street up by the station. A big draw on this one was the preferential spots for the Festival of Fantasy parade. The restaurant itself is lovely and very typically Italian in its decor and general vibe.

Tony’s Italian – Magic Kingdom

Again this is 1 credit on your dining plan however you get a 3 course meal for your 1 credit. So I opted for the caprese salad, followed by meatballs (coz you know Lady and the Tramp!) And then tiramisu. The food was quite nice however having 3 courses was just too much, and even though it was nice I found Via napoli for an Italian restaurant much better.

So that’s the 3 Magic Kingdom table service restaurants ranked in my opinion… Be Our Guest has become a must do for me on trips, even if its only for breakfast. Id do Tony’s again to get thr parade spot however I’d possibly pay out of pocket for it and just get 1 course

What do you think? Have I missed any?
